So, you've done it. You've written your book and now you're searching to have it looked over and polished to perfection. You need someone who's going to take a close look at your story and point out any flaws or errors that might be lingering. You need that person that's going to catch those last minute mistakes and let you know when things aren't flowing the way they should.
This is where I come in.
I have over a decade of writing experience and continue to learn as much about my craft as I can. While working with me, you can be assured that I will treat your story with as much care and consideration to every tiny detail as I would for my own projects. I have a deep passion for making sure stories are the best versions of themselves as they can be and I'm here to help you achieve that.
Copy Editing
$500 for stories up to 90k. $800 for stories between 90k-120k.
Custom quotes will be provided for stories that exceed 120k.
This service includes combing through your story to find any errors such as grammar, syntax, spelling, sentence structure, or any loss of consistency. You can expect detailed notes left throughout the manuscript, as well as a brief critique on any major plot issues.
Proofreading
$300 for stories up to 90k. $600 for stories between 90k-120k.
Custom quotes will be provided for stories that exceed 120k.
This is where the final checks over a draft happen. It's the very last check you need before hitting publish. This service includes doing a careful once over the document and correcting any lingering typos, grammatic mistakes, or any other writing errors.
Timelines & Sample Edits
Payment plans are available! Typically there is an average 6 week timeframe for most projects, with a minimum of 4 weeks, unless otherwise agreed. If you require an earlier return date, extra fees may be applied, which will be discussed upon request. Once the edits have been completed you may expect to receive a fully annotated document, a document with all the suggested changes accepted, a style sheet, and for copy edits only, an editorial letter with my full thoughts of the story. If you desire, you are also entitled to a virtual follow up meeting to discuss final thoughts.
If you've never worked with me before and would like to have a free sample edit done you may request for one through the form. However, this is a one time sample. If you have worked with me in the past you cannot request another.
